What Is The Difference Between Judaism And Christianity

Judaism and Christianity are two of the most prominent religions in the world. Both religions have similar beliefs, but there are some key differences that set them apart. Judaism is the oldest of the two religions, with its roots stretching back to the ancient Hebrews of the Middle East. Christianity, on the other hand, is a monotheistic religion founded by Jesus of Nazareth in the 1st century CE. The main difference between Judaism and Christianity is that Judaism does not believe in the divinity of Jesus, while Christianity does.

Judaism places great emphasis on following the laws of the Torah, while Christianity is based on the teachings of Jesus as recorded in the New Testament. Jews believe that their relationship with God is established through the practice of the Law, while Christians believe that their relationship with God is established through faith in Jesus and his teachings. Another major difference between Judaism and Christianity is that Judaism does not recognize the New Testament as inspired scripture. Jews believe that the Torah is the only Word of God, while Christians believe that both the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God. In addition, Jews observe the Sabbath on Saturdays, while Christians observe the Sabbath on Sundays.
