Difference Between A Sequence And Series

A sequence is a set of numbers in which each number is followed by another number in a specific pattern, such as in the Fibonacci sequence. On the other hand, a series is a set of numbers in which each number is the sum of the numbers that preceded it. For example, the series 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 would be the sum of the two numbers before it, 1+2 = 3, 3+2 = 5, 5+2 = 7, and so on. Both sequences and series can contain any type of number and can be of any length.
